The app on mobile is terrible. Most of the time videos just buffer forever. And in the rare case when you can get a video to play, there is a 90% chance at some point it will go into the eternal buffer cycle. Download/offline option is a joke. UPDATE for clarity. Prior to leaving this review I cleared the apps cache, restarted my phone, confirmed it was not a storage or internet connection issue, then did a full uninstall/reinstall of the app. None of those things made any difference.

Good shows and stuff, but the app needs work. On my Pixel 5, the whole video player is offset to the right, leaving fullscreen and CC buttons on the right out of view. In addition to that, I can't skip intros or anything when casting to my chromecast. By the way, the disingenuous copy-paste response doesn't help your case. I can look down at the next review and see the same one. Step up the QA game and make sure you aren't sending out busted stuff, then your reviews will go up.

380Mbps connection and this app is non stop glitching and loading. All other streaming apps run flawless 99.999% of the time and HBO Max is gautunteed to glitch and load 100% of the time. Extremely disappointing. However, the content is fantastic. Unfortunately, if the problem isn't resolved I will be unsubscribing. Edit: I didn't think that it was possible but this app is even worse. Barely functions at all and there is no help from HBO to resolve the issue. Subscription has been canceled .
